JLearning Clearwater is a joint religious school in Clearwater, Florida, created by Congregation Beth Shalom and Temple B'nai Israel. We are open to members of the two synagogues, along with those who are unaffiliated, providing a fun and innovative Jewish learning environment for children and teens from preschool to grade 12.
Our curriculum focuses on values-based Judaic learning, helping students develop a positive Jewish identity through the study of Jewish Text, History, Tefillah, and holidays. We also offer Hebrew studies for students in grades 3 and over, including private, one-on-one Hebrew Enrichment Learning catered to each student’s grade level and pace of learning.
Congregation Beth Shalom was founded in 1957 and is affiliated with the United Synagogue of Conservative Judaism. It is led by Rabbi David Weizman and Rabbi Danielle Upbin Weizman, who joined the synagogue in 2002.
Temple B’nai Israel was founded in 1949 and is affiliated with the Union for Reform Judaism. It is led by Rabbi Joshua Lobel, who joined the synagogue in 2019.
