2023/2024 Enrollment Form - New Students

JLearning is a combined synagogue sponsored school between Congregation Beth Shalom and Temple B’nai Israel.  We understand that finding a temple community to affiliate with takes time. For new unaffiliated families - we offer a one year special JLearning membership - $108 per student. This allows each new family to see which synagogue is best suited for them. This extra fee will be split between the two synagogues to off set the cost of the free membership for the year.

For 8th Grade Students Only:
This year will be focused on Israel education and Madrichim leadership with time in the classroom. There will be additional opportunities to volunteer. Please check below if you understand that joining this Madrichim leadership year comes with the expectation of regular attendance so that the teens, students, and teachers will be able to develop the classroom relationship.

For 9th - 12th Grade Students Only:
For 9th - 12th grade, being part of the Madrichim program is an option but needs to be discussed individually with Jackie Klein so as to clarify expectations and responsibilities.  We want to make sure that each student is getting the most out of their high school program year and that responsibilities are also being met as part of the Madrichim team.
