TBI RELIGIOUS SCHOOL FAMILY FUN DAY

We invite all religious school families to join us for our "Welcome Home" Registration & Family Fun Day! Arrive at 9:00 AM for breakfast and fun activities for the kids. We will continue our morning with a Family T'Fillah, Team Building Exercises using the five senses, and finish with a school tour and song session. Parents & grandparents are encouraged to come and participate! Please RSVP using the form below.
Family Fun Day Schedule
9:00 AM - 9:40 AM
Welcome Students & Families - Bagels, coffee, and juice. Registration begins, tables will be set up for families to fill out registration forms
Activities for Students & Families - “Sanctuary Scavenger Hunt”, Human Bingo, and pinwheel decoration. Simcha tree “May our year be filled with as many simchas as seeds in a pomegranate.” Students will add their wishes to the tree on their pomegranate.

Family T’Fillah - Welcome and introduce service to students and their families - ‘What Jewish Time is it?’ - Havdalah

Team Building with Spirituality and the Five Senses (15min each)
- Smell - Selection of spices for the Religious School Havdalah Spice Box - What spice lifts your spirit as we start the new year?
- Sound - Rhythm Circle - Create a rhythm together as we move the beat around the circle, can you hear and feel the harmony we are creating together?
- Touch - Parachute - Can we keep a large beach ball on the parachute while waving it creating as much wind as possible? Do you feel the push and pull of the movement, how does the breeze impact you?
- Sight - Laser light maze, can we work together to reflect the light and hit the target? Can we connect our energy to create a circuit to light up the sanctuary? Will we continue to share the light we create this year with others as we go?
- Taste - Challah (Kiddush) - Sweet and Salty - Will you dip your challah in honey or seasoned salt, what memories do the flavors remind you of?
