We are so happy to offer a congregational trip to Israel in June 2023 as we explore our people's spiritual homeland and celebrate Israel's 75th anniversary! We are partnering with Makor Educational Journeys and they have prepared a fantastic itinerary for us.

Among the many highlights:
- A guided walking tour through the Old City of Jaffa, tracing its story from the days of the Bible through the Jaffa Port.
- A walk-through Neve Zedek and Rothschild Blvd. to hear stories of Tel Aviv and watch people from all backgrounds intermingle in what have become two of Tel Aviv’s most popular areas in recent years.
- Travel by Jeeps along the Golan Volcanic Way down a route that reveals some spectacular results of geological activity.
- Guided tour of the streets and synagogues of Safed/Tzfat, one of Israel’s “Four Holy Cities,” and the center of the 16th century revival of Kabbala -Jewish mysticism, known for its narrow alleyways and artists’ studios.
- In Jerusalem, explore the Jewish Quarter to discover the layers of history beneath the surface, including possible visits to the Cardo, the Broad Wall from the days of the First Temple, the Herodian Mansions from the days of the Second Temple and the Hurva Square, the thriving center of the Jewish Quarter today.
- Ascend Masada via the cable car for a guided visit through the site and an exploration of the symbolism and questions that arise from the Masada story and their implications for Jewish life today.
- Celebrate Shabbat in two different Reform communities.

Also, if you have a child around the age of B'nai Mitzvah, we can create an opportunity for a special ceremony in Israel! This trip is fantastic for first timers and also for folks who have been to Israel on a prior trip, as our itinerary includes unique offerings sure to delight all participants.
